The diagnosis of spiritual and existential troubles 

The possibility to diagnose the spiritual and existential trouble has been already discussed at the second Congress on Anthropological Spirituality and Social Ecology: these troubles are not specific of people with alcohol, drug and alcohol/drug related problems, but they are experienced by many people at present in the communities all  around the planet. 
It is necessary to diagnose them early and not to confuse them with other problems, first of all the mental disorders and somatic symptoms. In Croatia we have seen that the war can produce anthropo-spiritual problems and vice-versa. 
These problems express themselves with alexitimia, that is the impossibility to communicate and interact. 
The striken person loses the possibility to interact in society, can feel depressed because he is not able to understand himself, the others, what is happening and loses the hope and the will to do anything. (Hudolin, Assisi 1995).
