Combination of alcohol related problems and mental disorders 

- The programmes for the treatment of alcohol related problems don’t deal with therapy of mental disorders, which belongs to psychiatrists and their collaborators competence. The programme however can cooperate with the psychiatrists and their collaborators, where a combination with alcohol related problems takes place. 
- The Clubs can be used in the treatment of mental disorders combined with alcoholism: the outcomes can be positive for both of them. 
- The person who undergoes a psychiatric treatment can enter a Club only after the assent of his general practitioner, or psychiatrist, who has to take him to the Club or to send a letter asking for collaboration with the Club. 
- If a member of a Club with his behaviour shows some mental problems, his family must be invited to consult their practitioner. This means that the Club and the family behave like when other physical disease are present, even if they can have a strong correlation with alcohol drinking (liver cirrhosis).
